Lösningsförslag:
1. (a + b)2 = (a + b)·(a + b) = a2 +ab + ab +b2 = a2 + 2ab + b2
2. (a - b)2 = (a - b)·(a - b) = a2 - ab - ab +b2 = a2 - 2ab + b2
3. (x + 2)2 = x2 + 2x + 2x + 4 = x2 + 4x + 4
4. (3 - z)2 = 9 - 3z - 3z + z2 = 9 - 6z + z2
5. (a + b)(a - b) = a2 +ab - ab - b2 = a2 - b2
6. (y + 5)(y - 5) = y2 - 5y + 5y - 25 = y2 - 25
Faktorisering
Faktorisering går ut på att multiplicera baklänges.

c.) x3 - 6x2 + 9x = x( x2 - 6x + 9) = x(x - 3)2
